Project Details
Overview
I led the development of a digital tracking system for the 'Aida' vaccination awareness campaign. The project was designed to measure engagement and track vaccination enrollments across various pharmacy locations.
By digitizing the process, I ensured that every participant could easily register, allowing the client to monitor campaign success through accurate, real-time data collection.
The Problem
The client struggled to gather reliable data on campaign performance. Manual tracking at individual pharmacies led to significant errors and delayed reporting, making it difficult to understand the campaign's overall effectiveness.
They needed a way to bridge the gap between physical posters in pharmacies and digital lead management. Without a automated solution, tracking the impact of their outreach efforts was nearly impossible.
My Approach
I started by designing a scalable QR-code system where each pharmacy received a unique, trackable asset. This allowed me to pinpoint exact sources of enrollment and attribute them to specific physical locations.
I then built a landing page to capture participant data, ensuring it integrated directly with the client's existing workflow. My goal was to create a friction-free experience for the end user while maintaining strict data integrity.
The Solution
I implemented a dynamic system that generates customized QR codes for each location, including UTM parameters for granular tracking. When users scan the code, they land on a specialized form that automates the data collection process.
I used Python to handle the backend image generation and data processing. The system automatically extracts necessary information and passes it to the central database, allowing for instant reporting on which locations perform best.
Technical Stack
- Python for backend logic and data processing
- UTM parameters for traffic source tracking
- QR code generation and dynamic mapping
- Custom landing page with integrated webhooks
- Database backend for real-time analytics
Results & Impact
By automating the tracking process, I eliminated the need for manual tallying at pharmacy locations. This improved data accuracy and provided the client with actionable insights into campaign participation.
Management can now see which pharmacies are driving the most enrollments instantly. This allows them to allocate resources more effectively and adjust campaign strategies on the fly without waiting for manual reports.
Key Takeaways
- Automation significantly reduces manual effort in physical-to-digital marketing campaigns.
- Accurate location-based tracking is essential for optimizing campaign performance.
- Integrating automated data capture with central databases ensures real-time visibility.
