Project Details
Overview
I took on the responsibility of reviving a digital platform for Sahba Kenitex. The company had an existing online portal that had been inactive for quite some time, and I helped bring it back to life.
My primary goal was to modernize the look and feel while implementing a robust e-commerce engine. This would allow them to sell products directly to their customers through a secure and efficient interface.
This project represented a significant shift in their business operations. By moving their inventory online, I enabled them to reach a wider audience and manage orders more effectively.
The Problem
Before I arrived, the company struggled with an abandoned portal that served no real purpose. It was outdated and lacked any mechanism to handle modern customer inquiries or sales.
The team faced difficulties manually processing every order that came through traditional channels. They couldn't effectively manage their client base, leading to lost time and missed opportunities.
Additionally, the site was not optimized for performance or modern user interaction. The client needed a system that could handle operations without requiring constant manual intervention from their staff.
My Approach
I started by auditing their existing digital infrastructure to identify why the portal had fallen into disuse. I needed to understand their operational needs before proposing any changes.
I then designed a new visual identity, creating custom graphic assets and a fresh UI for their dashboard. Consistency across their branding was vital to ensuring the new site felt like a professional extension of their company.
My planning phase involved mapping out the customer journey from browsing products to final checkout. I ensured the site structure was intuitive for both the end-users and the administrative staff managing the backend.
The Solution
I built a comprehensive e-commerce platform using a flexible content management system. This allowed the team to add and update products easily without needing technical support for every minor change.
I integrated specific engine tools to boost the site's performance and functionality. By automating the backend, I reduced the amount of manual work required for order management and stock updates.
I also focused on the admin side of the platform. I ensured the interface was clean and allowed for easy tracking of sales and inventory, giving the management full visibility into their online performance.
Technical Stack
- WordPress for the CMS framework
- JetEngine for custom content structures
- Elementor Pro for front-end design
- Custom API connections for backend efficiency
Results & Impact
I successfully transitioned their business into an automated, online-first sales model. This helped the staff focus on growing the company instead of managing manual paperwork.
Within a short time, the company reported a significant increase in sales and customer satisfaction. The new system made it easier for their clients to purchase products at any time of the day.
I also synchronized the web platform with their internal CRM. This integration allowed for a seamless flow of data, ensuring that every customer interaction was recorded and handled with precision.
Key Takeaways
- Revitalizing an old system is often more valuable than building from scratch if the brand foundation is strong.
- Automation is key to reducing operational costs and human error.
- CRM integration provides the data needed for long-term strategic growth.
